Fab Five Friday Faves

So my lovely's, its Friday again which can only mean one thing my five faves of this week.

1) Well the last few weeks have been difficult for me with my dad battling heart problems and my daughter being admitted to hospital. My body's taken a battering  with stress and lack of sleep, my super saver from all these  has had to be  my Collection 2000 lasting perfection 16 hour wear concealer in fair, this is a fab product to conceal my horrid shadow's  under my eyes and also the horrid stress break outs that I've had, this has to be my fave product this week.

2) I love mascara's and am always chopping and changing every few weeks, so when i dug my Nouveau lashes mascara  in black out my makeup bag i rediscovered how much i love this mascara. One coat and they are good to go (don't you just love that feeling when  you rediscover a product again?)

3) Ive mentioned in my blogs my excitement for Xmas is huge, so I'm loving everything festive ....so i wanted to include my favourite buy of the week this really cute very glittery metal and plastic Crystal effect Christmas tree, i lurveeee it so much....

How adorable is this glitter tree, who said Xmas cant be girly!! and even better a bargain at £1...yes £1.

4) my make shift make up brush holder, when me and my hubby went away for our anniversary we were given champagne and glasses at our hotel we were told we could keep the glasses...so i decided this week to use them to keep my make up brushes in ....Their perfect for what i need as hold perfectly the brushes i use (and every time i look at them i have fab memories to awww)

5) So everyone loves a good winter nail polish...this week I'm loving nails inc in colour regents palace. This is  a beautiful deep purple colour and is a fab shade for this season these nail polishes also have great staying power to.
What are your favourite's this this week?

So tomorrows December which can only mean one thing.... blogging everyday till Xmas day :)
25 DAYS TO GO!!

hope your all having a fab week xx

Hello my lovely's

well id like to introduce you to my guest blogger Rebecca from beauty spot click here.
Rebecca has a fab blog, with some great reviews and fab make up looks not to mention the amazing rag doll Halloween makeup she created that won her a great goodie bag from ELLE UK.

How amazing is this look!!

Well last week Rebecca and myself decided to exchange 10 question our criteria was beauty and blog related.

Here's the 10 question i gave  her and her fab replys

1)What is your blogs name??
A. Beauty Spot! http://beccaroseking.blogspot.co.uk/

2)How long have you been blogging?
A. I started in February this year

3)Who/how was you inspired to start blogging ?
A. At the beginning of 2012 I started to become obsessed with watching makeup tutorials on YouTube, in particular Pixiwoo's Chanel. The more I watched, the more beauty products I was buying. My makeup bag was literally over flowing so I thought why not start a blog about what I bought & what I really liked. So Beauty Spot! was born :)

4)Can you tell me abit about your blog?
A. It's mainly about reviews on makeup and other beauty products that I really love. I sometimes will upload makeup looks that I have created or will blog about anything else that I am loving at that moment, beauty related or not!

5)How much time do you spend a week blogging or thinking bout future blog posts?
A. It varies really, sometimes I have a bit of a splurge on buying new things so I will try and blog quite regularly. I try and blog at least a couple of times a month though

6)What is your favourite beauty brand?A. This is really hard, I love MAC lipsticks but love Rimmel foundations. If I had to choose though, I would say MAC.

7)What is one beauty product you cant live without?A. I would have to say my NARS Laguna Bronzer. I am faired skin so this really perks up my face, because it is matte it's a great product to use all year round and you can create some great contouring with it as well

8)Whats your favourite high end brand/drug store brand?
A. High end would be DIOR, I absolutely love their eyeshadow pallets and I am a little obsessed with my Dior Amber Diamond powder highlighter. Drug store I would say Rimmel, I love the foundations and range of colours they have to suit everyone. I am also a big fan of their powder blushes, nail varnishes and eyeliners, winner all round really!

9)How much time a day would you spend beautifying?
A. On a week day I try to give myself an hour to get ready for work (depending if I can get up on time!) I do my hair, makeup & have breakfast in that time. If I am getting ready for a night out, I like to give myself 2-3 hours! (I know that probably sounds ridiculous!) but I like to have a shower, wash my hair, put my rollers in and then I normally spend a little time planning my makeup look! Sometimes it takes a little while to apply the false lashes ;-)

10)Who's your beauty icon/icon's??
A. Cheryl Cole is a natural beauty, I have always thought she is so stunning. I love Kristen Stewart's look as well, she is quite a Tomboy so when you see her all glamed up on the red carpet I always think WOW! It's great that she can rock the grungey look but also pull off a classic red lip as well.

Thank you Rebecca  for being my guest blogger on my blog....all go check her blog out and maybe show the blogger love and follow beauty spot (it makes people smile )
If anyone else would love to feature as my guest blogger  leave a comment below....i would love to have you aboard.

Now I'm back playing nurse from home, i can now catch up on my blogging in between. I have so many blog ideas some beauty... some ramblings and I'm going to be doing blogmas( i loved watching vlogmas on youtube last Xmas so thought id blog everyday in December till Xmas  day) These days in December maybe about anything and everything!! but I'm looking forward to documenting my run up to Xmas with my little people (my kiddies) & hubby....i also have a  guest blogger blogpost coming in the next few days soooo its all systems go. Xmas party outfit bloggeer challenge

So when i stumbled across another blogger's blog, all about the Xmas party outfit challenge run by fashionvouchers click here , i thought why not give it a whirl and see what i can do.

The challenge is to choose a brands website from their A-Z collection of brands. You then have to put together a killer festive outfit for £100 or less.....so i thought let the challenge begin.

I looked through the brands and decided to go with BooHoo.com , as I'm only 27 still young myself. This brand always stands out to me as being very current and bang on trend which i love.

As i got it in my head i was to create a festive outfit. To me Christmas only means one thing RED and sparkle!!! so that's what i wanted to go with.

Here's what i chose .....

So when i think killer outfit i always think "dress". I chose this dress as it stood out to me being bright red and very festive looking. This dress is the Polly bandeau skater dress coming in at a bargain price of £20.00, i loved the bandeau sweetheart neckline and the flair of the material on the skirt area of the dress.

I'm really loving the look of shoe/boots with dresses at the moment. So i decided to go with some Ebony gold sparkly platform shoe boots...well if you cant sparkle at chrimo when can ya!!!
I love the fact these are platform, but even tho these state are a 6.25 inch heel (hello tallness)..i think the fact these are platform takes away the pressure on feet and will be comfortable enough to dance the party season away. These lovely heels are £35.00 so was the dearest part of my outfit but are defiantly a statement party piece.

So no outfit is complete with out a clutch.I came across this Jemma beige stud and suttle skull one...studs are a big thing at the moment and may not be very festive looking but i think the beige and reflective off the studs is enough to bring this into the festive season and would complement this outfit. This clutch was a bargain at £15.00.

An outfit would not be complete with out statement jewellery.I wanted some bracelets that would look stacked , i chose the Kayla spring gold bracelet..keeping with the gold to match the shoes, these was £8.00.I also noticed a fab matching bracelet and necklace,  the colours fitting the festive season so well. With its big multi coloured stones i thought would look great above the sweetheart neckline of the dress.  Then the bracelet on the opposite wrist to the gold stacking bracelet. The Melissa jewelled necklace came in at £10.00 and the matching bracelet £8.00, the multicolour stones would also make this a fab duo to mix and match with a variety of outfits.

So with that being my selection, my whole killer outfit came in at £96. I thought  this was fab for a 6 piece outfit....I now wanna rush out and buy this outfit for my self.

Why don't you take part in the Xmas party outfit blogger challenge ?? click here to take part

Fab Five Friday Faves!!

Hey, so i thought every Friday i would do a Fab Five Friday faves. This will consist of things that have i have loved this week and made me smile....

1)Since now in the UK its bitterly cold, I've very much been enjoying a nice bubble bath opposed to a quick shower.Whats made it more enjoyable is the Lush rose jam bubbleroon. This melt is amazing  the rose scent is very fresh and young no way a mature floral fragrance with the sweetness of jam, crumbled under my running bath water creates fab bubbles and even better my bath water is pink!!

2)Yesterday i purchased the real Techniques stippling brush and omg what had i been missing....I know I've only used it once this morning, but i was that impressed i had to include it.This Brush felt amazingly soft on my face and my foundation looked flawless...recommend this brush to everyone and whats even better Boots have a buy one get the 2nd half price on at the moment.

3) Ive been loving "all of you, yes you reading this"....I'm so grateful for the people that have read, followed and commented on my blog .....thank you so much my lovelys you have made me smile so much (my contribution for movember as i just cant grow one myself ha ha )

4) Not only have i loved you reading my blog, but have loved reading others peoples blog's to. I love a variety of different  genres from makeup to people documenting their life's...A blog I've really enjoyed this week is a thrifty Mrs http://www.athriftymrs.com/ Mrs Thrifty has made me want to organise my house...rearrange my fridge and glitter D.I.Y some shoes this week....this blog is fab check it out .

5) So the weathers been a bit wild this week, especially where i live in the midlands, strong wind and unbelievable  amounts of rain....but what I've really loved is lying in bed listening to the wind outside and rain fall on my windows (ok i don't enjoy it when i have to go out in it and realise the hubby's took the umbrellas to work in the car :/ bad times!! ) but i always think theirs something really therapeutic about lying in your cosy bed and falling to sleep to it...anyone else with me on that one??........

What have been your favourites things this week??

Come join me for afternoon tea plus OOTD and makeup

Today my husband and i went for yummy afternoon tea at Coombe Abbey. A 12th century monastery which is now a fab hotel and restaurant surrounded by acres and acres of beautiful nature trails and all things beautiful .This was a wedding present brought for us, which we have only just got round to using 13  months on....So i thought I'd let you all have peak into my fab afternoon and  take advantage of this and do an OOTD and what i wore on my face.

As we arrived up the very long drive the surroundings looked picture perfect with all the very pretty Autumn leaves.( you can not beat cold autumn days wrapped up warm)

So here's what i wore...its one of them things, What do you wear for afternoon tea?? so i went with something i would feel comfortable in but warm...I felt slightly out of place when we  arrived...the dress code seemed to be middle age/oap (the sterotypical afternoon tea goers lol) but I'm 27 so if you cant rock shiny leggings an an American print top for afternoon tea... when can you??

So ill start from top and work down most my outfit is Primark (i lurveeee primark for bargains)
woolly bobble hat with hearts and diamantes currently in primark £3
Fur collared quilted coat (fur detaches) currently in primark £22
Scull scarf black and cream £3 Primark
American flag print top with eagles is a very long top on me more a dress! but i tucked it in to make a short top this was reduced in Primark for £3 (bargain)
black shiny leggings £8 from George at Asda
Brown leather strap  ankle boots from Hush Puppies if i remember right these was about £100...these are fab quality..good quality shoes will see you through for years!!
current season grey studded bag £6 primark

Here's what i wore on my face

FOUNDATION~Avon  ideal flawless invisible coverage shade creamy natural
BLUSHER~ Mac sheertone blush shade peaches
EYE'S~ Naked palette shades used virgin, sin, toasted and lined with elf eyeliner waterproof pen in black
LASHES~ Benefit bad gal lash in black
BROWS~ Hd brow palette
HIGHLIGHT~ Benefit high beam

A quick little snow man post........

If you love all thing Xmas , the smell of spice you will love this little dude......

This little melting snowman is part of the Lush Christmas range he retails at £1.95 and is worth every penny.

This has a fab hot toddy fragrance, consisting of cinnamon, clove, patchouli, lime and sweet wild orange oils. His body contains cocoa butter and shea butter so when the little snowman hits the hot bath water, he melts away so your bath water will leave your skin feel super soft and nourished.

I absolutely loved this when i used it, I'm a big Christmas spice smell kinda gal, and the moment i smelt this in Lush i knew i had to try him......i could not wait till it was bath time and was not disappointed at all.As i dropped this under my hot running tap the smell filled the bathroom and then slowly my whole of upstairs...my only hate is the dairy free chocolate chips in it (not sure if edible) i assumed they would melt but it left brown bits floating around my bath and his little nose (think was a piece of apricot) i scooped out...but this  would no way put me off...yes , i would not wash my hair with the bits floating around, but for a very relaxing festive feeling bath i would repurchase over and over again. This also lingered in my bathroom for 2 days so every time i walked in i smelt the spices of Xmas so £1.95 well spent i say.

So if your like me love Xmas....but think its to early to put your tree up and Dec the house up with sparkle and glitter....treat yourself to a little melting snowman, light some candles and relax...go on i know you want to .

                                     35 days to go!!

Fave youtubers/Advice for my teenage self tag

So I'm a huge youtube junkie!!! love anyone that talks makeup & life (especially the mummy's of youtube being a mummy myself :))
I love watching all kind of videos but do have my faves....sprinkleofglitter, fleurdeforce, zoella280390, Tanya burr, kandee Johnson ,umbumgo, and my new current fave that i discovered last month is Stephanie Connolly (shes fab check her out)
The years of watching these fab youtubers spurred me to start this blog, as I'm not yet confidant enough to put my face on camera. But i do wanna put my love for all things girly to blog....so that brings me here!! and as i love all their videos from reviews, tutorials, tags, vlogs and even their good old rambling to the camera.... i really do love it all.... I'm gonna put all mine to here "my little piece of  me land." Where only people like me will understand the love for as my blog name says all things princess.  So as i love a good old tag video i thought I'd do my first tag and do the Advice for my teenage self tag !!

So the questions are:
* 3 makeup/fashion do's for your teenage self

*3 makeup/fashion dont's for your teenage self
*A deep and meaningful piece of advice for your   teenage self
*1 tip for school
*1 tip for friends
*1 tip for fun

* 3 DO'S
DO moisturise your skin and don't think just cause your 13 you don't have to do it, i suffer with really bad dry skin and moaned about it then and believed moisturisers was for old Lady's ha ha .....my poor skin!

Do go for it with that "black" mascara its not gonna kill ya ,i stuck with clear mascara for years through school looking back it done nothing for my lashes but back in 1998 i thought i looked the bee's knees.

Do think about your fashion sense it was terrible Clair, what was you thinking!!!

3 DONT'S

DONT try and home dye your hair with a box blond colour (wanted to go barbie blond).....the orange look really did not suit me whats so ever ha ha.

DONT wear them horrid Adidas tracksuit bottoms, the ones that had all the different colour stripes and the kappa poppers. you know the ones???.....the ones that your school friends took great pleasure in ripping them open to your embarrassment....yes you thought you looked brill Clair but quite frankly you looked like the original chav!!!

DONT just pick up any cheap foundation that you can find in the shops and pay for it without testing the colour ......then getting it home and wearing it despite it being well to dark for your face.....surely i looked odd!!! yet no one thought of asking why my face was alot darker to my neck....oh and even if your gonna wear that super dark foundation cause it was in the bargain basket for 99p do blend it love...lol

ADVICE FOR MYSELF

Don't be afraid to be yourself.....don't worry what others think of you...live life for now...the people who you was afraid to be yourself with, where are these people now?? have these people made any impact on my NOW life?? do i see these people??? answer to this is NO....so to my teenage self live everyday for now...do everything that makes you happy, don't worry, take chances , speak your mind!! will give you a great start for your adult life.

1 TIP FOR SCHOOL

Don't stand for the bully's...don't let anyone make you feel anything less then you deserve...talk out about it and save yourself 3 years of suffering.

1 TIP FOR FRIENDS

Take more photos with your friends...as you will look back and wish you had the photos to go with the memories or the faces of old friends start to become fuzzy 15 years on.

1 TIP FOR FUN

Just have fun fun fun still be the sensible girl you was at 13 but go and enjoy your younger years! as i say to my 12 year old niece you will never get these younger years back...To the 13 year old Clair life is not gonna end if you go out and don't do that one bit of homework ..take every fun adventure that's thrown at you and grab it with both hands, just enjoy life!!!!... being 13 should be amazing young and carefree.

Thanks for reading, if you read this you are tagged to!!!.....if you have a youtube channel or want to share your faves please do, love finding new channels.
I love seeing my blog statistics are going up so pleased people are reading my blog please share, follow and spread the word.

Soooo ive found the perfect pair of xmas party heels

So their i was just casually browsing the shops when......i spotted these beauty's

I literally fell in love their and then......not only are these shoe/boots a perfect winter christmasy(is that even a word ha) colour but they have glitter...not just any glitter but multicolour glitter!! That should of sold it for me their and then but me being the mum of 4, flat wearing kinda gal!! i ummed and arhhhh... measured up the size of the heel. Justified the platform to take inches of the heel to make me feel better,  found myself arguing with my conscience as to whether i will wear them?? what i will wear them with?? etc (am i alone on this or do others talk themselves in and out of buying things)

So the point came when i talked myself out of buying them ....why i don't know!! they was a reasonable price at £27.99 , beautiful, glittery and say Clair all over them....yet i walked away from these size 5 beauty's.....But the problem was i walked away, but they would'nt walk away from me all afternoon/evening and yes in the middle of the night i thought about these shoes....so much so that as soon as i woke the following day, i sprung out of bed washed and dressed and braved the 25 minute walk into my local town to buy them in the rain i add.....am i crazy?? reading back this i think yes!!!.....But girlys its things we do for the love of shoes oh and GLITTER xx

So if anyone else who's reading this adores these beauty's these are from NEW LOOK £27.99
they come in black / black glitter also.

Also something else i fell in love with and was an absolute steal was this over sized tassel studded clutch

(picture does not do this any justice,) This clutch feels great quality, its a dusky pink colour (also available in black) the studs are secured well into the fabric not just stuck on like most cheaper bags, being large its obviously very spacious for nights out so can fit all our makeup essentials, it has a carry strap and a large tassel...i used this on a night out recently and had so many comments about it. But what shocked most people was when i told them .....wait for it ....it was £6 from primark..yes £6 this is my buy of the month for deffo so far....i so want this in black now also, but gotta track one down.

hope you've enjoyed my finds as much as i have.

                                                         speak soon guysss!!!

p.s 41 days till Xmas yayyyyy!!

A sneak into my make-up bag

                                                          Hi Guys!!

So who doesn't love a good night out....I thought id do a whats in my going out makeup bag. I have a mixture of products from the higher end to cheapys.....

1)So firstly i'll start with my absolute fave item....my Urban Decay NAKED Palette this has been the love of my life for over a year , this can be used for every occasion as the colours are so versatile....i love SIN &VIRGIN but love a bit of CREEP OR GUNMETAL for that great smoky eye look...The staying power for these eyeshadow are amazing and last all day...which my opinion is well worth the £32 i payed for it and i can deffo see why this product is so hyped about.
2) my MAC blush in peaches gives me such a lovely glow and looks brill when i have a tan. This has great staying power but this goes without saying for most MAC products anyway in my opinion.
3) I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Elf waterproof eyeliner pen ....this product is just like a felt tip pen which make the eyeliner so easy to use and creates a great eye look...and this last forever  on the eye!!! .....and even wore it for my wedding without having to have any touch ups all day and the best thing about this product is its £1.50 and comes in 8 shades mines black and i love it this product is highly recommend  .
4)collection 2000 16 hour wear concealer....this is fab , i have this in fair and love it especially as i suffer with bad under eye circles and this covers up most...This is well spoken about with all beauty vloggers and bloggers, which is how i come to know about it and like the NAKED palette can see why its spoke about as much  as it is. I have a MAC one and prefer the collection 2000 one and at a snippet of the cost its a beaauty bargain.
5)Benefit BAD gal lash.....i really like this product the one I'm using is a 4.0g one which came free with a magazine ..I'd also heard mixed reviews on this so when i saw they was coming free with a magazine i thought I'd give it a whirl.I'm really enjoying using  it but undecided whether i wold pay full price for this!! as yes it makes my lashes look lush but the formula is not as wet as I'd like it.... but while its their to use before i start on others it was well worth the £2 magazine price i payed.
MY FOUNDATION

The foundation i use is AVON ideal flawless invisible coverage SPF 15 in creamy natural.....this quite frankly is the best foundation I've used ever. This as it says makes my skin look flawless!! and i can feel my self panicking cause I'm coming to the end of my second bottle ....  i suffer with very dry skin, but this foundation feels like it hydrates my skin and glides on beautifully with a foundation brush. I suppose as for price goes its a tad dearer then alot of foundations available in the likes of boots, superdrug but at £12 for a 30ml bottle i think its fab and ill deffo be repurchaseing it.

For my lips I'm enjoying my BARGAIN lip product REVLON lip gloss in coral reef......

this lip gloss is amazingly pigmented and at a steal at £1 yes £1 from poundland!! i am over the moon with it.....the colour of this goes on as a lipstick would but with a gloss. The staying power is longer than most normal lipgloss's and i only seem to have to apply this a few times throughout the night.

For a great bargain i would check your local poundland for some little treasured finds, and at a pound even if they don't float your boat your not breaking the bank!

This is my finished look, i went for a natural look that night and used all the products  that i have stated above.....hope you've enjoyed a sneak in my makeup bag.

Next blog post will be bout fab Xmas footwear and my bargain bag find, thanks for taking the time to follow me:)
                                           Thanks guys!!!
